The Holy Prophet [s] has said, “He who gave one dirham to a student of
religion (Islam) , has given the purest gold equal to the Mount of
Uhud in charity.” (‘Ihya al-Ulum’ of Imam al-Ghazali, Chapter -
‘Fada’il al-‘Ilm wa’l-‘Ulama)

As you are aware Madrasah Islamiyyah Canning Vale has been in
operation for the last three years.
It has provided the invaluable service of cheap and often free Islamic
education to public school going children in the area.

Our Madrasah will be expanding next year to accommodate more than
sixty children occupying six classrooms at the local primary school
(Canning Vale Primary School).

We urge you to contribute to the Madrasah in covering its operational
costs. Your assistance is sure to earn you Allah’s good favour and His
generous rewards in the hereafter.

The celebrated Indian scholar and sage, Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanvi has said,
“There is not the least doubt that the existence of madrasahs in these
troubled times is a great boon. There is nothing more meritorious than
these establishments. If there be any institution by which Islam can
be preserved in the present-day, it will most surely be through these
orthodox schools.”
